Brand Extension | Bodum
This project is centered around the development of a brand extension for Bodum, using an audio system comprising a speaker and headphones as case study. The products have been designed in a way that aligns aesthetically with Bodum’s brand identity and graphic language while also appealing functionally to its target audience.
Design Brief
The objectives is to define the role of graphic language within the realm of products. This involves an initial analysis of the brand utilizing several theoretical models (analysis of the identity of the brand, the graphics and form language and specification of explicit and implicit design characteristics). Following this analytical phase, the brand values are translated into the design of a product using the literature of semiotics. The culmination of this project is the creation of a detailed graphical concept representation, alongside the construction of a 3D physical model.
